Extract audio from a video file

PowerISO can extract audio from a video file. It supports almost all popular video files, such as .mp4, .avi, or .wmv. The output audio file can be mp3, flac, ape, ogg, wma, or wav file.

Please follow the steps to extract audio from a video file.

  • Run PowerISO, and select "Tools  > Audio converter..." Menu. 

     

  • PowerISO Audio converter will popup. Click "Add" button to add the movie file. 

 

  • The "Add files" dialog will popup. Navigate to the folder containing the video file, select it, and click "Add" button to add the video file to convert list. If you cant see the video files in the dialog, please select files of type as "All files (*.*)".

     

  • Select output format and output folder, and click "Convert" to start extracting audio from the video file.

 

  • PowerISO will start extracting audio from the video file. You can see the detailed progress information when converting.

 

 

  • After all files have been converted, you can see the message, "Converting audio files completes successfully".
