IMG file stores raw whole image of a disc. PowerISO can manipulate IMG files directly. You may also convert it to ISO format, thus can provide better compatibility for other applications. To convert IMG file to iso file, please follow the steps,

Run PowerISO.
Choose "Tools > Convert" Menu.
PowerISO shows IMG Converter dialog.
Choose the source IMG file you want to convert.
Set the output file format to iso file, and enter the output file name.

Click "OK" button to start converting img file to iso.
